When Dreams Come True by Pat Cromwell

The thing I love most about fiction is that you don't have to stick to the rules dictated by society. Love can happen in the blink of an eye or trickle down like warm molasses. When Dreams Come True wastes no time on preliminaries. The sparks fly from the opening paragraph and don't come to an end until the last word. I found myself laughing aloud as I read this story. I also found myself groaning and muttering under my breath as I do with every book and movie I watch. I can honestly admit to being surprised by these characters. They definitely do not harbor any resemblance to any characters I've ever read about.

Kenneth, for example, was charming, unpredictable, and at times annoying. I loved him for these three attributes. So many times you read about characters that are perfect, in looks and attitude. I was also fond of, but a little confused by, Kenneth's speech, which reminded me of an eighteen century gentleman. I almost thought he was a transplant from that time period to ours.

All in all though, I enjoyed the story. It was a delightful surprise from previous readings.

Three and a half Delightful Divas

Santa's Elf by Qwillia Rain
Elfina is a sexy little elf trying to gain the attention of her employer. We’re given just a taste of her sexual fantasies, and left begging for more. Little does she know that her ultra sexy employer has fantasies about her… fantasies that will soon come to life.
We are teased during the twelve days before Christmas Eve as Santa aka Dayton, teases, taunts, and pushes the limits of sexual prowess and fulfillment with Elfina. With Qwillia Rain’s fabulously descriptive writing, you will feel like you are in the book… or at least wish you were.
Super Hot! Super Good! Whether you’re looking for a little holiday reading or you just want a sexy book, pick it up!
I give Santa’s Elf, 5 Delightful Divas.

Crimson Promise by Sapphire Phelan
Ms Phelan brings back the campy B movie Vampire story. Taking her Vamp from the distinguished, gentlemen of Europe and placing him on a far removed planet in outer space. Victor has escaped Earth which has become deadly to his kind and lives now on a desolate planet. He thinks he is alone in this remote hell hole. Till he discovers an alien like himself, yet very different.
I really liked seeing Ms Phelan's twist on an old fave. This is the first sci fi vampire story I have read in a very long time. It's nice to see a change from the usual vampire fiction. That's not saying Victor isn't tall dark and handsome. What would an erotic story be without a handsome hero. But the alien landscape give this book a new feel. Na'lesa isn't an alien like I'm used to either, she is an interesting species in her own right. This story has a lovely happy ending. And lets not forget the very steamy sex scene. Over all I have to give this book 4 and 1/2 delightful divas.

Recommended Reads
In the Gloaming: An Anthology of Faerie Stories
This anthology is a fabulous collection of Faerie stories by Cora Zane, Esmerelda Bishop, K.M. Frontain, Nita Wick & Kelley Heckart.

Each story takes place in a different realm and time period and have equally sexually charged, action packed, engaging plots. Before you know it you’ll be fanning your face from the heat in this book. I really felt that I connected with each of the heroes and heroines in all five tales. All of these authors did a superb job in writing such vivid adventures that I felt I was right there in the middle of it. Whether our modern or historical characters were battling good or evil, they all experienced a happy ending that left me thoroughly satisfied.

In the Gloaming was a quick and enjoyable read, I would recommend this anthology for faerie and non-faerie lovers alike! 5 Delightful Divas.
